It was a great year for the Cottonwood Heights Business Association. The CHBA had several new events including the city’s first Death by Chocolate event that featured favorite chocolate desserts from local restaurants. The association also organized the first Zombie Bike ride that attracted dozens of riders, decked out in their best zombie attire.

The CHBA held the city’s first business awards luncheon in October to recognize a few of the amazing businesses and leaders in the community, and the two service projects held this year (the diaper drive and The Road Home donation drive) brought in thousands of donated items from those living and working in Cottonwood Heights.

In 2017, nearly 200 new businesses opened in Cottonwood Heights including Alpha Coffee, Even Stevens, Carmine’s and Café Zupas. The CHBA organized several ribbon-cuttings to celebrate with these businesses.

Free business boot camps continue to educate local business owners to help them develop new skills in social media, marketing, leadership and positivity. In 2018, the boot camp series will continue with some great speakers!

CHBA is excited to work with the proactive business owners in Cottonwood Heights and is grateful to them for creating a fun, interactive business community.
