Lost and Found Pets

Lost Pet Image from the Humane SocietyWe want to help our residents locate their lost pets in any way we can, and to help with that goal we post all pets found by our officers on this page.  If you see your lost pet below, you can claim it by contacting city offices at 801-944-7095 or 7096.  If your pet is not listed on this page, you can contact one of our animal control officers at the same phone numbers to see if your pet has been picked up.

To pick up your pet, you must pay all fees (impound fee of $25.00 for first impound, plus $8.00 per day for room/board) and provide verification of rabies vaccination or acquire verification within 30 days.  Your pet must also be licensed in Cottonwood Heights.  Licenses can be acquired at Cottonwood Heights City Offices. After fees have been paid and all documentation has been verified, you will be directed on how to pick up your pet.

Cottonwood Heights Animal Control strongly urges all homeowners to microchip their pets so that if the pet is found it will be easier to identify.

Report all animal control issues to police dispatch at (801) 840-4000.

miloMilo is missing. She's 50lbs, brown and white spotted. Spayed. She's NOT wearing her collar. She went missing from our house in Cottonwood Heights. We are right off Fort Union and the cross street is Promenade.

I'm worried and so far the neighbors haven't seen her.

She IS micro chipped.

Please call or text and share. I need to find my girl.
