City Hosts Mountain Accord Community Meeting

Cottonwood Heights hosted a community meeting on the evening of November 12, inviting residents and neighbors to learn more about the Mountain Accord.

Mountain Accord is a multi-phase initiative that seeks to make critical decisions regarding the future of the central Wasatch Mountains. It will holistically evaluate and address issues and goals centered on four topic areas: environment, recreation, transportation, and economy.

Public involvement is an important component of this effort, and Cottonwood Heights wants to make sure residents get a chance to learn about the project, while offering input on the various plans.

Attendees were able to provide feedback regarding our city, our neighborhoods, our environment, our economic impact and our distinctive connection to future transportation needs at the meeting.
