Health department proposes changes to noise pollution regulation

The Salt Lake Valley Health Department is proposing amendments to Health Regulation #21, which governs community noise pollution control and affects how law enforcement agencies respond to alleged noise ordinance violations.


A public hearing on the matter will be held on April 11 at 5 p.m. at the Environmental Health Division Auditorium, 788 E. Woodoak Lane in Murray. Written comments can be submitted anytime prior to the hearing by mailing them to the Environment Health Division, Attention: Reg. 21 Comments. Email comments can be submitted to slvhdehsan@slco.org.
