Local Authors Wanted!

Cottonwood Heights, in cooperation with Whitmore Library and the Salt Lake County Library System, will be hosting the city’s second Write for the Heights Literacy Fair. We are changing the program a bit this year, and we would like to invite local authors to participate in some of the forums associated with the event.

If you have published fiction or non-fiction or performed or published poetry, and you would like to participate in a writer's panel or teach a writing class or workshop, please contact Ann Eatchel at aetchel@cottonwoodheights.utah.gov to submit a letter of interest, resume, writing samples and possible curriculum.

The deadline to submit letters of interest is Feb. 15.  The panel will be held at the Whitmore Library on April 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and is free to the public.  Write for the Heights will include three writing classes during the summer and a writing contest in the fall, so stay tuned to the city website and Facebook page for the latest updates!
